WHY CHOOSE NYTHU? Working with independent craftspeople from Wales and the UK we offer a discerning range of homewares not available from any other online gift list service. Our online service is simple and convenient, and your dedicated Gift List Curator is at hand if you need any help or advice.

By placing your list with Nythu, you give your guests peace of mind that they are giving you something that you will cherish, whilst saving them the hassle of wrapping your gift and carrying it around on your wedding day.

If that weren’t enough, we also offer couples with an account a 10% lifetime discount on future purchases from Nythu.

DOES IT COST ANYTHING? No – we’re pleased to offer our service free of charge to couples and their guests.

HOW DOES IT WORK? After registering an account with us here, you browse our Homeware to compile an online list of gifts you would like. You can add a Gift Card to your list as an option for your guests, as well as mark items as ‘Group Gifts’, enabling multiple guests to contribute towards a single higher-value item.

You share your list with your wedding guests by enclosing a small notification card (provided by us) with your invitations, discreetly advising guests where you have placed your wedding list. Alternatively, you can arrange independently to include details of how guests can access your gift list on your own invitations.

Your guests buy gifts for you from your gift list via the Nythu website. The monies that your guests have used to buy these gifts are monies pledged. You can use monies pledged to purchase any of the gifts from your list, and you have the flexibility to substitute items and consolidate your list before placing your final order.

Once you have placed an order for the gifts you would like, we will start the process of getting these gifts to you. Many of our products are made to order and as such have longer lead in times. We will contact you with a proposed a delivery schedule.

Once your gifts have arrived, you can begin to enjoy them every day.

HOW DOES IT WORK FOR GUESTS? Click here to find the gift list of the couple at whose wedding you are a guest.

Browse the items on their gift list and make a purchase. Alternatively, if the couple have included a Gift Card as an option, you can contribute an amount that can be used by the couple to purchase anything on the Nythu website. If items are marked as Group Gifts, then multiple guests can contribute towards a single higher-value item.

After the wedding, the couple will place their order and the gifts will be delivered directly to them – so you needn’t worry about wrapping your gift or taking it to the wedding. Our service is free of charge to couples and their guests.

CAN GUESTS CONTRIBUTE CASH? As well as products, couples are able to add a Nythu Gift Card option to their gift list allowing guests to pledge monies. All Gift Card pledges will be credited to the couples Nythu account and are redeemable at nythu.co.uk against product gifts. We regret that Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash.

WHAT ARE FLEDGLINGS? Fledglings are couples who have signed-up to pilot the Nythu service prior to its official launch in October 2019. As a Fledgling couple, you are pioneers – we ask that you communicate your experience with us so that we can make Nythu the best it can possibly be. If you value our service, we also ask that you act as ambassadors for us within your communities and online. In return for your support during our soft launch phase, we'll credit your account with £100 after you place your wedding gift list order. Conditions apply, please see our Terms.

WHAT IS MEANT BY LIFETIME DISCOUNT? We are delighted to offer all couples with an account a lifetime discount of 10% on future Nythu purchases once you have placed your final wedding gift list order.

WHEN SHOULD WE CREATE OUR LIST? We advise you to compile your list no more than twelve weeks before your wedding to make sure your are choosing from the most current ranges.

HOW MANY GIFTS SHOULD WE PUT ON OUR LIST? As a rule of thumb, the more gifts you add to your list the better. We advise at least two gifts per wedding invitation. Remember that you can ‘Hide’ gifts from guests and only make them visible if you feel that guests need more choice.

Try to offer a range of gifts across different price brackets for your guests to choose from. You can mark items are ‘Group Gifts’ enabling guests to contribute towards a higher priced gift. You can also highlight ‘Priority Gifts’ so guests are aware of your preference. Choosing a gift for you should be an enjoyable experience for your guests too.

CAN WE ADD A GIFT CARD? Yes – guests can pledge monies via a Gift Card. All Gift Card pledges will be credited to your account and are redeemable at nythu.co.uk

WHAT IS GROUP GIFTING? You are able to mark higher value items as ‘Group Gifts’, enabling multiple guests to contribute towards a single higher-value item.

WHAT IS A PRIORITY GIFT? Priority Gifts are items couples have identified as a priority.

HOW DO WE SHARE OUR LIST? We will provide you with small notification cards to be enclosed with your invitations, discreetly advising guests where you have placed your wedding list. These cards are bilingual (Welsh/English) as standard. Once you have ordered your cards from us, please allow up to 10 working days for delivery. Alternatively, you can arrange independently to include details of how guests can access your gift list on your own invitations. The information required including your unique code and URL are available from your Nythu account.

WHEN SHOULD I PUBLISH OUR LIST? You should aim to publish your list by the time you send out your notification cards so that guests are able to easily find your list. Guests will not be able to purchase items from your list if it has not been published. You are able to publish or un-publish your list at any time via your Nythu account.

IS THERE A DEADLINE FOR PLACING OUR ORDER? You must place your order no more than four weeks after your wedding date.

HOW DO WE PLACE OUR ORDER? All monies pledged by your guests are credited to your account. You can use monies pledged to purchase any of the gifts from your list, and you have the flexibility to substitute items and consolidate your list before placing your final order. You can place your final order via your Nythu account.

CAN WE EXCHANGE MONIES PLEDGED FOR CASH? No – we offer our service to you free of charge and incur many costs in doing so, and so unfortunately we’re unable to exchange monies pledged for cash.

WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR GIFTS? Although we hold some items in stock, most of our products are made to order by independent craftspeople especially for you. Once you have placed your order, we’ll get in touch with the relevant makers to commission your gifts, asking each of them to provide us with an estimated lead-in time. These times are likely to vary according to the nature of the craft, and so for this reason we offer two complimentary deliveries Monday - Saturday within mainland UK as standard (so that you receive items available soonest - sooner, and the items available latest – later). Once we have received lead in times from all makers, we will contact you with a proposed delivery schedule.

CAN WE RETURN ITEMS IF WE’VE CHANGED OUR MIND? No – we offer you the opportunity to consolidate your list before placing your final order to make sure you are happy with your selection.

WHAT SHOULD WE DO IF THERE’S A PROBLEM WITH A GIFT? If an item is faulty, not as described, or does not do what it is supposed to do, please contact us within 30 days for a full refund. Where this is the case, we will reimburse standard return delivery charges.

If you notice that any items are damaged or missing, please notify us as soon as possible within two weeks of delivery so we can help sort out any issues.

WILL OUR GIFT BE EXACTLY LIKE THE ONE IN THE PICTURE? Handmade items are by their very nature unique! So whilst will take all reasonable care to ensure that details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct, there may be slight variations between products – we hope you agree that it’s part of what makes them special.

HOW DO WE CLOSE OUR ACCOUNT? Once your balance is zero, you can request to disable or close your account via your Nythu account. (Note that you cannot disable or close your account whilst it is in credit, and that by closing your account you forfeit our offer of 10% lifetime discount on Nythu purchases).

WE NEED TO CANCEL OUR LIST – WHAT SHOULD I DO? If you need to cancel your gift list for any reason, please ‘Un-publish’ your list immediately and let us know in writing. We will then discuss how you would like your list to be dealt with. Please note that if you require us to refund guests, an administration charge may apply to cover costs incurred by us.

I’M A GUEST AND I’VE CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT THE GIFT I’VE PURCHASED – WHAT SHOULD I DO? Refunds are permitted up to 14 days after the day on which the couple receives the Gift. However we regret that we cannot be held responsible if the couple do not wish to return the gift. It is your sole responsibility to arrange and bear the cost of the return of the gift and we accept no responsibility for organising this with yourself or the couple. Please note that your right to return products does not apply to items that are personalised or made to order, or to credit that has already been spent by the couple.

Please note that in certain circumstances, couples may choose to substitute gifts with another Nythu item of equivalent value to the price paid for the gift(s) by you, the guest. Where such substitutions are made in respect of a gift you have selected, Nythu will have discharged its liability to you.

As a consumer, you will always have legal rights in relation to gifts that are faulty or not as described.
