Inspired by maritime signaling flags and heavily influenced by Welsh textile designs, the striking Rheidol cushion is inherently of this place. It takes its name from the river Rheidol too, which flows from its source in Pumlumon into Cardigan Bay.
A striking addition to any bed or armchair, the shape of the cushion is also very practical in that it provides great support for your lower back when reading in bed!
Llio begins by creating designs from paper before moving onto the loom where she weaves design samples by hand. Once she is happy with the design, she works with an independent woollen mill to produce a small run of woven cloth, which is then made into cushions and throws.
